This 100% natural and food grade gingerbread sugar scrub is made entirely from ingredients straight from your kitchen. Ready in 5 minutes and prepared all in one bowl, this body scrub makes an easy holiday gift for yourself or family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar (or coconut sugar)
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, solid
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a large bowl.
  2. Top with coconut oil and molasses
  3. Using the back of a fork mash the wet ingredients into the dry to make a crumbly mixture. Depending on how solid the coconut oil is, you may need to use your hands.
  4. Place scrub into a mason jar with a secure lid. Will last for several months in a cool location

To use:

  1. On wet or dry skin, apply scrub liberally all over body.
  2. Scrub into skin to remove dead skin cells.
  3. Wash off completely.
