I would like to make a natural deodorant that I can put in a package like you buy at the store. Is there a way to modify this recipe to make it firm enough for that?

help! why is mine greasy?! I re-heated it and added more baking soda and arrowroot but it’s still greasy! what did I do wrong? or does anyone have any solutions? or is it just greasy?

I thank you grately for this recipe!!! I have been on the hunt for a good deodorant, spending a good amount of money testing all the “natural” and better types of deodorant. Every single one of them have failed me. I went from wearing secret every single day since I was a teenager to struggling to find the right one. Each deodorant gave me a rash, and the natural and organic ones gave me a rash and didn’t hide any scent. I work as a handywoman so I’m on the go all day everyday.

So long review short, I stumbled upon this recipe and took the shot. I AM SO HAPPY I DID. For the first time in years I have been able to go a day without having to worry if I stink. And to be honest there were days i just said I’ll deal with the rash bc I’d rather not stink.

side note:
I put it in an old container and have been keeping it my fridge…? it may just be too hot in my home, but keeping it out makes it too mushy.

Anyway I had to come back and say thank you. I hope you read this, because you seriously are a life saver.
